What is the Muqeem Portal?

Muqeem is a government platform designed to help businesses in Saudi Arabia manage the residency status of their foreign employees. Through Muqeem, employers can handle residency renewals, monitor the entry and exit of employees, and update residency-related information. Muqeem Portal Registration Process:

1. Fill the Registration Form:
   • The company needs to complete the registration form by providing the following details:
     • Saudi STC number for the General Manager (GM)
     • GM's email address
     • Ministry of Labour (MoL) file number
     • Valid Saudi Commercial Registration (CR) number and its expiry date
     • Registered company stamp
   • The GM must be available in person to provide their signature on the form.
2. Attest the Chamber of Commerce (CoC) Letter:
   • To proceed, an active CoC portal account is required, as well as approval from the Ministry of Commerce.
   • The company must create and write a letter for attestation and obtain approval from the Ministry of Commerce.
3. Activate the Muqeem Portal:
   • Once the registration form is filled out and the CoC letter is attested, the following are required to activate the Muqeem portal:
     • Muqeem registration form
     • Attested CoC letter
     • Active Commercial Registration (CR) number for the Saudi entity
     • Active ID for the company’s account manager
   • The company can collaborate with a third-party partner to assist in the activation of the Muqeem portal.
4. Invoice Payment:
   • Upon completion of the activation request, an invoice will be generated, which the company must pay to finalize the registration process.
